This customer in Tiverton, Devon called us for a fault finding visit as they were noticing their switch was warm to the touch.
This is what happens when you don’t terminate your connections properly. Especially in situations when you have high connected loads.
When you are screwing the wires in to the switch you need to make sure the connection is tight and on the copper. This goes for all connections but especially SHOWERS. In the photos you can see what happens when the switch screws are tightened onto the copper through the insulation.
